About Me
I'm a multi-disciplinary graphic designer from Reno, Nevada who's delivered creative and engaging solutions across brand identity, print, packaging, and digital media. I work with my clients from the first step through to the completed product to make sure they are fully on board with where I am taking them. My passion is my work, and I'm committed to bringing my clients' visions to life. I Currently work as an expert production artist and aspiring developer. I have an interest in front-end web development but I'm also interested in full-stack development, I love building on both sides of the browser!

Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard design app that lets you capture your creative vision with shapes, color, effects, and typography. I have many years of professional expierence with illustrator and can help bring any idea to life.
JavaScript
JavaScript is the bread and butter that makes all of our web pages interactive. JavaScript allows me to implement dynamic features on web pages that cannot be done with only HTML and CSS.
HTML
The bones of any website. You can't build a building without a solid frame. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language and is the language for describing the structure of Web pages.
CSS
CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and is used to style and layout web pages and provide Web developers with a standard way to define, apply, and manage sets of style characteristics
Sass
Sass stands for syntactically awesome style sheets is a CSS preprocessor that enables you to use things like variables, nested rules, inline imports and more. It also helps to keep things organised and allows you to create style sheets faster. It's also how I designed and styled the majority of this site.
Bootstrap
Bootstrap is a CSS framework and toolkit. Developers can't use it to write programs, but because Bootstrap contains massive amounts of reusable code and website element templates, the framework can remove some of the “busy work” and significantly speed up the process of building a website.
Adobe Photoshop
Photoshop is an image creation, graphic design and photo editing software developed by Adobe. The software provides many image editing features for pixel-based images, raster graphics and vector graphics. I have well over a decade of expierence with Photoshop and it is one of my favorite programs of all time.
Git / Github
Open-source version control system used to handle small to very large projects efficiently. Git is used for tracking changes in the source code, enabling multiple developers to work together on non-linear development.
Graphic Design Principles
I use my graphic design skills create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. Developing the overall layout and production design for applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and more.
App Dashboard Example
Project to convey the concept of a user-end application dashboard. Features chart implimentation using Chart.js, local storage via saved settings, and message form logic.
Employee Directory Example
Simple project showcasing ability to fetch data from an API. This project pulls 12 random users using Random User Generator API on each refresh. Allowing you to view detailed information about each user via a custom modal window.
Web Game Example
A fun phrase guessing game, where you choose random letters and try to guess the phrase before running out of lives.
Photo Gallery Example
Project showcasing a simple photo gallery application. This gallery logic was handled with the implimentation of BaguetteBox.js. It also features custom search logic to filter through the images and display the one the user is looking for.
Style Guide Example
Project showcasing Sass/Scss, using sass to simplify the style sheet process and design a concise and cohesive style guide that can be easily altered and modified.
Responsive Site Example
One of my earliest projects. This project is a demonstration of a simple, but responsive website. Using media queries to match a specfic mock-up at each desired screen width. Also used my illustrator skills to design additional content for the page while matching the rest of the design.
